Stoiximan presented its journey to date and strategic priorities shaping its future at an event held Wednesday, January 14 at Zappeion Megaron, attended by government representatives, institutional bodies, partners, athletes and media representatives.
From its first steps to its current position as the leading online gaming company in Greece and Cyprus, with a market share exceeding 50% and over 300 employees, Stoiximan has followed a consistent and dynamic growth path, with a vision to continuously raise the bar. From 2014 to 2025, the company has contributed over 1.6 billion euros in taxes and more than 130 million euros to support sports and society, fulfilling its commitment to creating long-term value for the economy, its people and society as a whole. Today, Stoiximan opens a new chapter. With new management, enhanced organizational structure, new offices and renewed corporate identity, it evolves into an even more modern, human and reliable brand, ready to meet future challenges.
Stoiximan: What Nikos Fligos said

The event also presented the new “IROES” campaign, the umbrella of all Stoiximan’s corporate responsibility programs, which activates actions with substantial social impact and supports everyday heroes over time. To date, more than 148,000 people have benefited from IROES program actions, with education, sports and health as key pillars.
Additionally, the implementation of a new corporate social responsibility program “AI Awakening & Upskilling” was announced for 2026, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, aimed at providing more than 200,000 free interactive trainings on artificial intelligence use. Particular emphasis was given to sports, which is an integral part of Stoiximan’s DNA. The company chronically supports athletes, teams, organizations and national teams, investing not only in moments of distinction, but mainly in the long-term preparation that leads to success.
In this context, it was announced that Stoiximan, as Gold Sponsor of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, will support 50 female and male athletes on their journey to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Following are highlights from the speech by CEO of Stoiximan, Nikos Fligos:
In his speech, Nikos Fligos referred to the company’s footprint to date and the priorities shaping the next page in Stoiximan’s evolution. As he mentioned:
- Stoiximan started as a 10-person startup and within 14 years reached the top of the online gaming industry in Greece and Cyprus, with market share above 50%.
- Joining the OPAP Group 6 years ago brought new momentum and capabilities, while maintaining the company’s non-negotiable culture of continuously raising the bar.
- From 2014 to 2025, the company has contributed over 1.6 billion euros in taxes and more than 130 million euros to support sports and society, fulfilling its commitment to creating long-term value for the economy, its people and society as a whole.
- Stoiximan today employs over 300 people, with more than 150 new hires in the last year.
- In July 2025 the company established its new central offices in Athens, while new offices in Thessaloniki are planned to operate within 2026.
- The new corporate identity and brand promise “Your moment belongs” captures Stoiximan’s driving force: creating distinctive moments. Moments of athletic excellence, technological innovation, human connection and social contribution. Moments that strengthen trust, capture the company’s role and confirm its commitment to operate with responsibility, transparency and respect.
Additionally, Nikos Fligos announced that the company:

Stoiximan at the heart of sports:
- Sports is a structural element of Stoiximan’s DNA.
- Stoiximan has proven this practically, consistently supporting not only major teams and top organizations, but also female and male athletes at their beginning. People with high levels of talent and dedication, whom Stoiximan supported to develop and reach the top.
- Olympic athletes supported by Stoiximan took the stage: Spyros Gianniotis, Antigoni Drisbioti and Lefteris Petrounias, who shared moments that defined their path to the top.
- Antigoni Drisbioti referred to the difficulties she faced when she was left without a coach a few years ago, with many believing she wouldn’t make it. Stoiximan stood by her side and thanks to her persistence and effort she managed to win the gold medal at the European Championship in Czech Republic.
- Lefteris Petrounias emphasized that Stoiximan has stood by his side in good times and bad. He referred to two characteristic moments when the company was steadily beside him. The first concerns his injury periods, when his athletic future was uncertain, while the second concerns the difficult path to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. He emotionally remembers when despite his 4th place at the World Championship in Stuttgart, the entire Stoiximan team welcomed him with applause at the airport, encouraging him.
- Spyros Gianniotis highlights his participation in Stoiximan’s corporate responsibility actions in remote areas that give more children the opportunity to come into contact with sports.
- The event featured a specially designed space with iconic objects from peak moments in Greek sports, including Anna Korakaki’s headphones and glasses, Lefteris Petrounias’ rings, Miltos Tentoglou’s shoes and Katerina Stefanidi’s competition outfit.
- The objects functioned as living symbols of personal and collective achievements, allowing attendees to connect with the moments behind the distinctions and recall the emotion, intensity and inspiration that accompany them.
Stoiximan beside society:
- Contribution has always been among Stoiximan’s priorities, with actions that have substantial impact on society, as well as duration over time.
- Through numerous and emblematic actions focusing on education, sports and health, such as Little Heroes, Wheels of Change and Empower Forward, the company has built bonds of trust, opening roads where there is need.
- A moving moment of the evening was the reading of a letter sent 8 years ago by Ms. Ioanna Tzukoupoulou, an educator at a school in Kozani, to request support for implementing educational actions for students. A letter that became the starting point for creating the IROES program, which has since supported more than 70,000 students.
- A video was also shown featuring a student from the school, who spoke about her personal experience and how her participation in the program then inspired her choice to become an educator, to offer children from remote areas of the country the opportunity to broaden their horizons.
- As Nikos Fligos mentioned, the company to date has supported more than 148,000 beneficiaries and 200 organizations and clubs through corporate responsibility actions.
People played a leading role in Stoiximan’s journey of contribution, which is why they were at the center of the event.
- Stoiximan’s CSR Ambassadors, Dimitris Diamantidis, Theodoros Papaloukas and Giorgos Printezis, shared on stage their own experience from participating in Stoiximan’s contribution initiatives and the moments that stood out.
- Theodoros Papaloukas emphasized how important the footprint of Stoiximan’s initiatives is, stating that he is particularly happy to be a CSR Ambassador of the company. Referring to the Euroleague Legends by Stoiximan show, he emphasized that the company supported the idea from the very first moment, giving them the freedom to “highlight basketball through their own eyes.”
- Dimitris Diamantidis, who has been Stoiximan’s CSR Ambassador since 2018, referred to the bonds of friendship that have been created with the company all these years and thanked Stoiximan for offering him the opportunity to participate in actions that open roads and make a difference for those who need it.
- Giorgos Printezis noted that sports leaves its mark on society and thanked Stoiximan for the chronic support of the Stoiximan AegeanBall Festival. As he stated, through this initiative it became clear to everyone that there is a need to support sports with substantial initiatives and infrastructure, citing as a characteristic example the construction of an indoor gym in Syros, after the great participation of the local community in the Stoiximan AegeanBall Festival.
- Among the partners who attended the event was Ms. Maria Trifonidi, President of Floga, an organization that chronically collaborates with Stoiximan to support children with cancer throughout the country.
- In a video statement, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Ambassador of Stoiximan’s Empower Forward, emphasized that “more than 8,000 athletes, coaches and parents have been informed about mental health issues,” while referring to the next phase of the program concerning support for young athletes.
- Among other things, Giannis Antetokounmpo, referring to young male and female athletes stated: “I know how important it is for someone to believe in you. This is what we want Empower Forward to offer: strength and support to even more children.”

- The event concluded with the exclusive screening of the new IROES campaign, the umbrella of all Stoiximan’s corporate responsibility programs, which activates actions with substantial social impact and chronically supports everyday heroes.
