Artificial Intelligence represents one of the most powerful drivers of European economic growth, while its adoption is expected to substantially strengthen our country’s economy as well. As the demands of public and private organizations for AI solutions continue to grow, the need for specialized AI engineers becomes increasingly urgent.
In this context, Netcompany, one of the largest IT companies in Europe, systematically invests both in AI technologies and in the new generation of people who will develop and integrate them into every service, process, and product.
“AI-native” architecture in projects that improve citizens’ daily lives
AI has, after all, been the foundation of the company’s business strategy in recent years, built on the triad of people – methodology – products and platforms. The platforms it has already developed – such as PULSE, which unifies data from different systems in real-time and digitizes business processes to provide a complete picture and immediate decision-making support, as well as EASLEY AI which operates as a development platform for digital assistants (AI Assistants), constitute a comprehensive “AI-native” architecture.
These are platforms already operating in critical infrastructures across Europe, from airports and transportation to financial services and government authorities, contributing to strengthening the continent’s digital modernization for the benefit of millions of citizens.
In our country, the company leverages Artificial Intelligence in a multitude of projects. From modernizing pension distribution and addressing illegal construction, to the advanced AI Assistants and Agents it has developed for telecommunications, energy, banks, and insurance organizations, it optimizes and accelerates critical processes in a reliable and secure manner.

The Netcompany AI Academy
Now, it takes the next step: developing the people who will continue – and accelerate – this journey, through the AI Academy that just launched in Thessaloniki. The Netcompany AI Academy is a new initiative that brings together the new generation of computer engineers with the world of Artificial Intelligence. It’s an intensive four-week program for newly hired computer engineers from different academic backgrounds, combining theoretical training, workshops, and participation in real projects, with the goal of helping young engineers learn, create, and evolve in the new era of Artificial Intelligence. The training is conducted by experienced Netcompany executives and specialized partners, aiming to “build” tomorrow’s AI engineers while contributing to the development of the country’s technological ecosystem.
Where talent, technology, and responsible innovation meet
This is therefore not just a simple “academy”; it’s a space where people acquire the tools for the technological solutions they themselves will create. When asked about this new initiative, Alexandros Manos, CEO Netcompany SEE & EUI, told us:
“This initiative supports our strategic vision for creating a thriving AI hub in Thessaloniki, where talent, technology, and responsible innovation meet. We’re no longer just talking about how AI can support us in simple tasks; we’re preparing the next generation for the era of Agentic AI. And it’s these talented engineers we’re training today who will shape tomorrow’s solutions that will empower people and businesses, creating real value.”
With more than 600 new hires in Greece in 2025 alone, the company steadily invests in its people, supporting them to build the skills they need for tomorrow.
