A motorcyclist reached an unbelievable speed of 205 km per hour on Marathon Avenue, near Gerakas. The Greek Police announced that radar showed this incredible number, and officers from the Traffic Accident Control and Prevention Units arrested him on Monday evening, November 17.
Moreover, it was revealed that the driver had no driving license, as it had been revoked since September 23, 2025, for not wearing a protective helmet. The license was revoked by officers from the 1st Traffic Department of Southeast Attica.

The shocking part is that the speed limit at that specific point is 60 km per hour, meaning the driver -who was dangerous to other road users, as stated in the police announcement- exceeded it by just 145 km/h. The 30-year-old was given the prescribed administrative penalties, while charges were filed against him for dangerous driving and driving without a valid license. The arrested man, along with the case file from the 2nd Traffic Department of Northeast Attica, was brought before the competent prosecutor.
