A new thriller is unfolding in Boeotia following the discovery of a body in Skoúrta. Police are investigating the incident to determine whether it was a crime or suicide. The man found charred was of Albanian origin. It was around 11:00 AM on Friday, November 7, when a hunter moving through a forest area, near the provincial road from Skoúrta to Kleidi, spotted the vehicle which was completely burned. Approaching closer, he witnessed the macabre scene. According to police sources, during the initial inspection by local forces, it was determined that the body was placed in the back seat of the destroyed vehicle.
Due to the recent murder of Giannis Lalas in the Eptalofos area in Arachova, according to sources from parapolitika.gr, the Organized Crime Unit showed particular interest by taking over the preliminary investigation, though the two incidents are not necessarily connected.
