Emergency services were alerted shortly after midnight on Wednesday (15/10), following an explosion and fire that occurred outside a municipal building in Neapoli-Sykeon district in Thessaloniki.

According to SKAI reports, material damage was caused to the entrance of the building, located on Ipeirou Street, fortunately without any injuries. Additionally, a gas canister was found at the scene which, however, did not explode.
Police and fire department investigations into the incident continue.
