The fierce feud between Adonis Georgiadis and Zoe Konstantopoulou continues over the case of Panos Routsis and toxicological tests for his son, who lost his life in the tragic Tempi train accident. Specifically, after the insulting characterizations she “fired” from Syntagma Square towards Adonis Georgiadis, saying he “has set up a vulgar scenario” and that he is “insignificant” and a “political worm,” the leader of Course of Freedom returned with sharp comments about the Health Minister.

“We are here at Syntagma with Panos, who is now on his 21st day of hunger strike. A grief-stricken father is asking for the obvious – to learn how his child died. There is no excuse for not allowing a father to learn how his child died,” Zoe Konstantopoulou initially stated, speaking on Mega’s show “Smile Again” on Sunday morning.
She continued, repeating the “harsh” characterizations she had “fired” yesterday, Saturday (4/10) against Adonis Georgiadis. “Mr. Mitsotakis, this prime minister in retreat, has appointed, I’ll say it again, as I said yesterday in my statement, watch my statement, an insignificant person, a ridiculous figure, a political worm, Mr. Georgiadis – the ‘mister’ is unnecessary – to trample on the struggle of this grief-stricken father who asks for the obvious.”
Zoe Konstantopoulou: What we’re witnessing is absolute hubris
“What we’re witnessing is absolute hubris. They trample on the dead, they trample on the pain of a father who asks for the obvious because they don’t want the truth to be known,” Ms. Konstantopoulou also noted.
Adonis Georgiadis: Zoe Konstantopoulou is a dangerous person
Adonis Georgiadis gave his own response to the insulting characterization that Zoe Konstantopoulou addressed to him. “It gives me great pleasure that Konstantopoulou called me an ‘insignificant worm’ – it declares that she has psychological issues,” the Health Minister characteristically stated, speaking on Action24 on Sunday morning.
Specifically, referring to the clash that has erupted with the president of Course of Freedom Zoe Konstantopoulou, Mr. Georgiadis stated: “Yesterday something inimitable happened. Ms. Konstantopoulou said she was going for a very serious matter to Ioannina. The fact that I forced her to stop the trip to Ioannina, to declare ‘I’m returning urgently to Athens to make important announcements at Syntagma,’ she arrives at Syntagma and the only thing she said was that ‘Georgiadis is an insignificant worm,’ gives me very great pleasure personally, I couldn’t stop laughing. That is, the woman is in Ioannina for very serious work, and says ‘I’m abandoning everything, returning to Athens, to say something serious,’ and what was the serious thing she said? That Georgiadis is an insignificant worm. We’re talking about comedy.”
Furthermore, the Health Minister argued that this declares two things. “It declares something serious about the psyche and mental balance of Mrs. Konstantopoulou, who obviously has some issues. And second, something very good for me, that I ruined her whole soup.”
When asked if he was calling Ms. Konstantopoulou crazy, Mr. Georgiadis replied: “I didn’t call her crazy. I said she was agitated. Psychological issues mean agitation. I don’t say serious things like that. She has some psychological issues, she had great anger. To stop the trip to Ioannina and go to Syntagma and the only thing she ultimately said was to curse me, obviously she’s not in a calm psychological state.”
What Zoe Konstantopoulou had said about Adonis Georgiadis
It’s recalled that Zoe Konstantopoulou took a harsh stance yesterday from Syntagma Square on developments in the case of hunger striker and her client Panos Routsis. “The government, through a ridiculous figure, an insignificant person of society, a political worm, is now trampling on the struggle of a grief-stricken father who wants to learn how his child died. Not only to learn if this is his child, but to learn how he died.
Stop sinking society further into the darkness of exhumations. Stop this hubris that plunged the entire society into your darkness. Give the order now, criminals. Stop this hubris. Society deserves to be only in the light. Give the order now, no more hubris,” Ms. Konstantopoulou characteristically stated.
Georgiadis: Insult me freely, you improve my mood
A response to the harsh expressions used against him by Ms. Konstantopoulou was given later yesterday by Adonis Georgiadis who, among other things, asked the president of Course of Freedom why she didn’t file the request for toxicological tests during the 2.5 years the case file was open.
In his post, he initially stated that “Zoe Konstantopoulou has set up a vulgar scenario. It doesn’t bother me at all that she insults me.” Regarding Panos Routsis’ request and other related matters, Mr. Georgiadis says that “everything should be investigated and everything should be examined no matter how irrational, but with one precondition: these requests and whatever else the Madam President or anyone else thinks of, should be accepted, without however delaying the start of the Trial.”
