Exactly one month remains for citizens to complete the necessary steps and obtain their Personal Number, as it will be implemented on November 5th. It should be noted that if the process is not completed, there will be complications in transactions with the government. It is reminded that the Personal Number will constitute the new basic identification tool and will gradually replace the tax identification number (AFM) and social security number (AMKA). For its activation, login to the gov.gr platform with personal Taxisnet codes and confirmation of personal data is required. If you cannot do it yourself online, then you will need to visit a Citizens’ Service Center (KEP) or a Consular Authority.
