New Democracy maintains a 12 percentage point lead over PASOK in voting intentions, according to a poll conducted by Prorata for Efimerida ton Syntakton. In raw voting intention, New Democracy remains dominant but at consistently low levels (23.5%), with PASOK in second place at 11.5%, followed by the rising Greek Solution (10%), which has regained third place from Course of Freedom, whose influence has decreased to 8%. The Communist Party (8%) and SYRIZA-PS (7%) show no significant changes, unlike Afroditi Latinopoulou’s party, which is gaining strength, reaching 4%. MeRA25 recorded 3.5% support, while other parties like Victory (2%), New Left (1.5%) and Democratic Movement (1.5%) showed lower performance.
In the vote estimation, which represents a hypothetical scenario based on proportional distribution of undecided voters, if elections were held tomorrow, an 8-party Parliament would emerge, with New Democracy collecting 27%, PASOK 13%, Greek Solution 11.5%, Course of Freedom and the Communist Party 9% each, SYRIZA-PS 8%, Voice of Reason 4.5%, MeRA25 4%, and remaining parties receiving percentages that would not secure parliamentary representation.

Prorata poll: Which party “pressures” the government most
Meanwhile, 16% of public opinion believes that Greek Solution provides the most pressure on the government, 14% believe it’s Course of Freedom, 13% say PASOK and 5% the Communist Party. However, 40% estimate that no party adequately pressures the government. As indicators of broader demographic differentiations recorded in political attitudes, younger voters and lower incomes evaluate more positively than older ages and higher incomes the opposition effectiveness of Greek Solution and Course of Freedom, while the percentage that Kyriakos Velopoulos’s party receives in the relevant index among northern Greece voters climbs to 24%.

Prorata poll: Kyriakos Mitsotakis remains steadily first in trust among respondents compared to other political leaders
To the question “Which political leader do you trust most?” Kyriakos Mitsotakis leads with 27%, followed by Nikos Androulakis with 8%, and Zoe Konstantopoulou, Kyriakos Velopoulos and Dimitris Koutsoumbas with 6% each. When their names are added to the relevant list, Mitsotakis remains first with 25%, followed by Alexis Tsipras with 11%, Velopoulos and Androulakis with 6% each, the Communist Party secretary-general with 5% and Antonis Samaras with 4%. Finally, the percentage receiving the answer “I wouldn’t trust any of the above” captures the lion’s share in both cases (34% and 29%, respectively).

Prorata poll: High cost of living the most important problem
The most significant problem recorded is the high cost of living, along with corruption and transparency issues, followed by immigration matters (mainly due to their high ranking by New Democracy and Greek Solution voters) and the health system (mainly due to their high ranking by left-wing voters). Within this landscape, the social emotional canvas is formed mainly on the basis of disappointment, anger and despair, feelings which are detected as more widespread among younger ages and lower incomes.

Prorata poll: Respondents’ views on potential party creation by Alexis Tsipras and Antonis Samaras
Subsequently, public opinion’s stance toward the possibility of new parties being created by Alexis Tsipras and Antonis Samaras was explored: 8% declared they would certainly vote for a new party under Tsipras’s leadership, and 12% said it would be relatively likely they would do so, percentages which in Samaras’s case are limited to 3% and 10%, respectively. However, 66% answered they are certain they would not vote for Alexis Tsipras, while in Antonis Samaras’s case the percentage is 74%.
