The concert featuring Anna Vissi, Antonis Remos and Christos Mastoras with Melisses in Ioannina was cancelled after strong winds swept away and collapsed the stage canopy that had been set up in Mavili Square.

According to epiruspost, shortly after five in the afternoon, the stage at Mavili Square for the concert was swept away by strong winds. Fortunately, there were no injuries, as technicians were working on final details at the time.

Ambulances and police forces arrived at the scene. The ambulances were not needed for any transfers, while police officers ensured the removal of crowds that had already begun gathering at the lakeside venue.
After this unfortunate incident, technicians began dismantling all the constructions that had been set up for both sound and lighting equipment. The concert was cancelled to the disappointment of thousands of locals and visitors.
