Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis held a telephone conversation with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, during which they exchanged views on the latest developments in the region. The Prime Minister once again emphasized, as he had done in recent communication with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the urgent need for the immediate release of hostages.
He also highlighted the dramatic deterioration of humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, underscoring the need for an immediate ceasefire and unimpeded access of humanitarian aid to the affected populations.
