Terrifying moments unfolded in the early hours of Sunday (6/9) on the Athens-Lamia Highway. According to information from Evia Online, two tires blew out on a bus chartered by a trade union organization that was returning from Thessaloniki, where it had traveled for the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF). The driver briefly lost control of the vehicle but managed to bring it to a stop approximately 100 meters further down the road.

The passengers, traveling from Chalcis, endured a lengthy ordeal as it took several hours for a replacement bus to arrive and collect them. They finally reached Chalcis at around 7:00 in the morning. Traffic police have launched an investigation into the incident.
