Police officers from the Narcotics Division of the Organized Crime Unit arrested a 25-year-old foreign national who was allegedly trafficking drugs in the greater Attica region. The foreign national was arrested on Saturday afternoon (6/6). The arrest followed proper utilization of intelligence information, and after police operations, investigations and cross-referencing of data and profiling, his criminal activity in drug trafficking was confirmed. During searches conducted at a residence, the accused was found to be in possession of a package containing cocaine weighing 1,180 grams, as well as three improvised plastic packages containing cocaine weighing 106 grams, all intended for distribution.

In total, the searches revealed and confiscated:
cocaine, weighing 1,286 grams,
cash amount of 170 euros,
mobile phone device,
two electronic precision scales
motorcycle, as well as
numerous plastic packaging materials.
It is noted that the accused has been involved in other crimes in the past, while an arrest warrant from investigative authorities was pending against him for attempted robbery and extortion.
The arrested individual is being brought before the competent prosecutorial authority.
