The ex-wife of 43-year-old Polish professor Przemysław Geziorski, who had been charged as the mastermind behind his murder in Agia Paraskevi in July 2025, died by suicide last night in Korydallos prison.
The woman was being held temporarily in the women’s wing of Korydallos prison and reportedly used bed sheets to end her life. According to initial reports, she was found hanging in the bathroom. The same sources indicate that the 43-year-old left a note. A preliminary investigation into the case is being conducted by the Korydallos Police Station.
The 40-year-old economist, ex-wife of the 43-year-old Polish university professor from the US, was accused of orchestrating the murder. The physical perpetrator is believed to be her current partner, who reportedly sought help from three foreigners (two Albanians and one Bulgarian) to carry out the deadly ambush.
Murder in Agia Paraskevi: The 43-year-old insisted on her innocence
It should be noted that in statements made in August 2025 from prison, the 43-year-old insisted on her innocence and that she had no involvement whatsoever in the murder, responsibility for which had been assumed by her 35-year-old current partner. “I am awaiting the final transcripts so everyone can see my clear non-involvement and how unjust my detention is. The evidence already emerging confirms what I said from the beginning. I had no connection, no involvement with the crime,” she declared.
A month earlier, an investigating judge and prosecutor, after a marathon procedure, had paved the way to prison for the 35-year-old executor of the Polish professor, the three alleged accomplices, and the ex-wife, as they were not convinced by their claims. The 43-year-old had pleaded not guilty, denying the role of mastermind that authorities attributed to her, while she reportedly appeared “devastated and shocked” before the investigating judge by the fact that her partner had confessed to the murder.
In fact, she reportedly insisted in her testimony that she had no legal interest in the murder, as her ex-husband financially supported her and their children.
Her 35-year-old partner, who has confessed to being the one who pulled the trigger, according to sources, left the 43-year-old out of the “frame” by taking full responsibility for the crime. “I did it to free my family” he reportedly told the investigating judge to whom he declared his remorse, while crying and breaking down asking for forgiveness.
