Students are just a “breath” away from the moment they will be called upon -as every year- to be examined in certain subjects within the framework of internal examinations. The complete schedule for the completion of the school year and internal examinations in Middle Schools and High Schools has already been determined by the Ministry of Education. Few school days remain for students, while holidays give children the opportunity for another break from their obligations.

Middle schools: When classes end and when exams begin
Classes in Middle Schools conclude on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. The examination period will begin on Tuesday, June 2, and will last until Monday, June 15, 2026.
The internal examination schedule for high schools
In High Schools, the school year ends earlier, on Friday, May 15, 2026, following the same pattern that applied in previous years, with minor deviations of a few days.
The promotional examinations for students in 1st and 2nd grade will take place from Monday, May 18, through Friday, June 12, 2026, while results will be announced by Friday, June 19.
For 3rd grade high school students, the graduation examinations will be conducted from Monday, May 18, through Monday, May 25, 2026, with the announcement of results scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

It should be noted that until the start of internal examinations, students have two important “breaths” ahead of them. May Day and Whit Monday (June 1st), which create opportunities for short three-day breaks for studying and rest.
