A fire broke out on Megistis Street in Kypseli on Wednesday morning, causing major concern among local residents. The blaze started in a small van that was parked on the street and became engulfed in flames under circumstances that remain unknown.
The fire spread rapidly, causing another car and a motorcycle that were parked nearby to catch fire as well.
Fire department forces (12 firefighters with 4 vehicles) and police were immediately mobilized and rushed to the area to extinguish the fire and prevent further spread. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the blaze has been brought under control.
