In the Leontario area between Pallini and Glyka Nera, a 49-year-old man was found dead on Monday afternoon. What was peculiar about his case? Two plastic cable ties were wrapped around his neck. According to police sources, the unfortunate man’s body was found face down in the side ditch of road 541 BC in a slightly “curled up” position. There are reports suggesting that when the man was discovered, a witness noticed that one of his ears was blackened.
Pallini: The possibility of criminal activity
According to reports, residents discovered the 49-year-old between 7:00 and 7:30 PM. Officers from the DI.AS. Unit were the first to arrive at the scene at 7:35 PM. From the beginning, there was confusion. Experienced officers, possibly based on the body’s position and some visible but not serious injuries, estimated that the possibility of criminal activity should not be ruled out.
