As reported today, Monday April 6, 2026, in the early morning hours, the PATRIOT Guided Missile Artillery of the Greek Force in Saudi Arabia (ΕΛΔΥΣΑ), within the framework of its participation in the international initiative mission “Integrated Air Missile Defense (IAMD) Concept” to support the air defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, fired a missile and shot down a target (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle – UAV), in accordance with the applicable Rules of Engagement.
The force continues its mission normally.
