Police authorities arrested a motorcyclist who was traveling at 187 km/h early Friday morning on the Athens-Lamia national highway, specifically at the height of Kifisia. The maximum permitted speed limit at that specific location is set at 100 km/h. The violation was recorded via radar equipment by officers from the Traffic Accident Control & Prevention Team (O.E.P.T.A) of the Attica Traffic Directorate.

As determined, the 26-year-old was driving dangerously, posing a serious threat to the safety of other drivers on the road network, while it emerged that his license had been revoked on March 23 by officers from the 3rd Traffic Department of Northeastern Attica for a period of one month.
The 26-year-old was subjected to the prescribed administrative sanctions, while a case file was compiled against him by the 2nd Traffic Department of P.A.TH.E. Highways for dangerous driving and driving with a revoked license.
The case file was submitted to the competent Prosecutor.
