An anchor disentanglement operation is currently underway at the port of Paros. During the departure of the ferry Champions League Jet 1, bound for Naxos, the vessel encountered problems with its anchor.
The ferry is carrying 459 passengers, as well as 26 vehicles.
The ship’s crew is working to free the stuck anchor, assisted by two private divers and a private vessel.
