The appeal hearing for the custody of Olga Kefalogianni and Minos Matsas’s children is expected to be heard today (26/03). In this context, Christoforos Kaparounakis, Olga Kefalogianni’s lawyer, speaking on MEGA’s “Buongiorno” show before the trial began, stated that “today, before the Athens Court of Appeals, my client Mrs. Olga Kefalogianni’s appeal against the first-instance decision regarding the custody of her children is being discussed,” explaining that “the appeal is directed against a decision which ruled at first instance that the 4-year-old children should change residence, change homes, almost every day, that is, four times a week.”
As Mrs. Kefalogianni’s lawyer characteristically argued, “we believe and hope that the court of appeals will understand how harmful such frequent residence changes are for the psychosomatic development of 4-year-old minor children and will correct this mistake, which -notably- overturned a previous interim measures decision that had been functioning smoothly for a year, so that the children can return to normalcy, like all children their age.”
