A 10-year-old child suffered a cardiac arrest at midday (11/3) at the Poseidonio Swimming Pool in Thessaloniki, during activities at the facility. According to thestival.gr, rescue teams and a doctor from EKAB Thessaloniki immediately rushed to the scene, applying the required protocols for specialized life support. Thanks to their immediate intervention, the child was revived and their health condition was stabilized.
Subsequently, the 10-year-old was transported by ambulance to Hippokration Hospital Thessaloniki for further examination. The operation involved one ambulance and one Mobile Medical Unit from EKAB, with four rescue workers and one doctor, ensuring the safe transport and care of the child.
