For the 11th consecutive day, flight cancellations continue at Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”, in the aftermath of the war that erupted in the Middle East on February 28.
Specifically, according to the latest data, today (10/03) a total of 39 flights have been cancelled, including 19 arrivals and 20 departures to and from Middle Eastern countries. In particular, flights to and from Tel Aviv and Haifa are not operating, while routes to Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are also affected.

Cancellations are also recorded on flights to and from Baghdad, Erbil, and Beirut, as well as to Riyadh and Jeddah, as airspace in several countries in the region remains closed for security reasons.
From March 3 until last Saturday, according to the latest official updates from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, more than 1,000 Greek citizens have returned to Greece.
