A serious traffic accident occurred in Kavala, when a bus struck a 13-year-old student, seriously injuring her.

The incident occurred last Friday when the 13-year-old attempted to cross the road perpendicularly and was struck by a bus. The impact to her head from being hit was severe, and she was immediately transferred to Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

“What we know is that they hit our child. She is in a coma right now with serious brain damage and multiple hematomas. The little one is not well,” said the 13-year-old’s mother, speaking to ANT1.
