The supreme leader “won’t last long,” if Tehran doesn’t get approval from him regarding the replacement for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei who was killed on February 28 during an airstrike. “They’ll have to get approval from us. If they don’t get approval from us, they won’t last long,” Trump told ABC News. The voting, it’s worth noting, has concluded, however Ali Khamenei’s successor has not been announced yet.
