An alarm was raised shortly after midnight when an explosion occurred outside an apartment building in Exarchia.
According to reports from Action24, unknown perpetrators placed an incendiary device consisting of gas canisters at the entrance of the apartment building, resulting in material damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the explosion. The blast, caused by the placement of two or three incendiary devices made from gas canisters on Deligianni Street in Exarchia, caused damage to the glass panels and marble at the building’s entrance.
Exarchia: Police examining security camera footage
Police are investigating the case, collecting testimonies and examining material from security cameras in the area in order to identify the perpetrators.
