With the help of Iris, the drug detection dog of the Evzones Customs Office, police officers discovered 518 grams of heroin, which two 20-year-olds were transporting in a vehicle, hidden inside a cardboard cereal box. The specific vehicle had entered Greek territory through Evzones. Police stopped it last night for inspection on the Egnatia Highway, near the Analepsi toll booths, where the narcotic substance was discovered.

The two 20-year-olds, citizens of North Macedonia, were arrested by the Crime Investigation and Detection Department of Kilkis on charges of importing narcotic substances and are being led to the competent prosecutorial authority.
