Alarm bells rang at 16:15 on Tuesday 3/03 on Marathon Avenue 164, near Nea Makri, when three individuals on foot opened fire on a vehicle.
Specifically, according to initial reports, three unknown pedestrians attacked a passing car, opening fire on the rear part of the vehicle. At the scene, authorities found 7 shell casings and one 9mm cartridge.
Authorities have launched a manhunt to locate the perpetrators, as well as any vehicle involved that may have been used for their escape. Meanwhile, investigations are underway to collect material from security cameras and eyewitnesses are being sought.
