A serious traffic accident occurred on Poseidonos Avenue in the Alimos area. Following successive collisions involving five passenger cars in the Athens-bound lane, around 00:30 after midnight Monday into Tuesday, a man was found dead, reportedly the driver of one of the vehicles according to sources.
As sources report, the man was transported to Asklepieio Hospital in Voula, but it was too late.
Two other people were injured in the collision and were transported to “Georgios Gennimatas” Hospital. One person is reportedly hospitalized in serious condition.
The Kallithea Traffic Police have taken over the case, trying to determine the exact circumstances under which the vehicles collided with each other.
