efood, within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility program “Love Delivered”, continues its collaboration with the Non-Profit Organization “DESMOS” to support volunteer firefighting teams across Greece. With the main objective of providing equipment that contributes to strengthening their operational readiness, the initiative continues dynamically this year, activating efood platform users for yet another year.

Thanks to the participation of platform users, more than 55,000 euros have been collected in recent years, strengthening efforts to support Volunteer Firefighting Teams. Additionally, during last year’s fire prevention period, efood contributed an additional corporate donation of 10,000 euros for the purchase of a new fire truck, while standing by firefighters and local communities, offering meals during wildfires.
This year, the effort continues with the goal of covering even more equipment needs, which, due to extensive use, requires frequent renewal. efood and DESMOS call on platform users to participate in the effort by donating 1 euro upon completing their order or through the special banner on efood’s homepage, selecting the amount they wish to contribute.
With consistency in its commitment to stand by society, efood continues to support actions that cover immediate and ongoing needs, hoping to offer substantial help to those who serve our fellow citizens daily.
