US President Donald Trump stated yesterday, Sunday, to The New York Times that he “has three very good candidates” to take over the governance of Iran in the post-war period.
The statement was made amid the ongoing war launched by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic on Saturday, during a brief phone interview he gave to the American newspaper. When asked who he would like to see take charge of the country, the Republican tycoon answered “I have three very good options,” adding: “I won’t reveal them for now. Let’s finish the job first.”
Finally, Donald Trump reiterated that the “intention” of his administration and that of Israel is for the war to last “four or five weeks.”
