Panic has erupted at the hotel Divani Caravel, in the Evangelismos area, after receiving a phone call about a bomb. The call was made to the police around 17:30 on Wednesday afternoon (11/02), while an Iranian embassy event was in progress.

Police forces have rushed to the scene and are searching the premises for explosives, while the unknown caller gave a 40-minute deadline.
