Alert has been sounded at Korydallos prison, as after a clash between two inmates, one ended up dead following a blow from a sharp object. According to information, both men involved in the clash are heavy criminals and the reasons that led to the fatal incident have not yet been clarified.

How the bloody incident occurred at Korydallos prison & the victim’s criminal history
The incident reportedly occurred earlier today (19/1). Two inmates, one of Greek and one of Albanian origin, came to blows for reasons unknown so far. According to the same sources, the 27-year-old Greek convict struck the 49-year-old Albanian man multiple times with a sharp object, fatally wounding him. The death reportedly was instantaneous.
The perpetrator reportedly faces legal problems following a murder attack against an Albanian man in Agios Panteleimonas in August 2025. The victim reportedly had similar convictions. Sources report that he had escaped in the summer of 2015, but was recaptured in December 2024. The same sources indicate that the victim had been involved in similar crimes in his homeland as well.
