The withdrawal of chocolate products was requested by EFET following an emergency inspection. EFET and specifically the Regional Directorate of Western Greece, discovered that chocolate products distributed in Greece by the company PAN. VAS. MORAITIS IKE in PATRAS had omitted the allergenic ingredient “hazelnut paste” from the Greek language labeling.

Which products did EFET withdraw
Specifically, the products are “Milka Oreo chocolate” 100g, with best before date 24.06.2026 and “Milka Oreo Brownies chocolate” 100g, with best before date 28.04.2026. EFET demanded the immediate recall/withdrawal of these product batches from the domestic market and related inspections are already underway. At the same time, it calls on consumers who are allergic to hazelnuts and have purchased these specific products not to consume them.
