Taxpayers have access to the electronic platforms of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue until 11:00 PM on New Year’s Eve. The AADE is proceeding with a temporary closure of its digital services due to year-end financial completion work, with most applications returning to operation on Friday, January 2, 2026. Exceptions include specific services such as the issuance of ENFIA Certificates for 2026 and payment receipts, which will be available from the first day of the new year.

Which AADE digital applications will be offline
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue announced detailed availability schedules for its electronic platforms during the holiday period. Most digital services will remain accessible until the evening of December 31. The myPROPERTY platform, through which declarations for Real Estate Transfer Tax, Donations, Parental Provision and Inheritance are submitted, will stop operating at 11:00 PM on the last day of 2025. Its restart is scheduled for January 2. The Property Registry, used for electronic filing of ENFIA declarations from 2014 to 2025, follows the same schedule with service interruption on December 31 at 11:00 PM and restart on January 2, 2026.
Tax returns and special schedules
The digital service for submitting original and amended Individual Income Tax returns presents differentiated programs depending on the tax year. For returns for the years 2020 to 2024, the platform will reopen on January 2, while for older tax years 2015 to 2019, restart is expected on January 12. First-class Ship Tax declarations, as well as fees for fishing vessels, tugboats and self-propelled dredgers, will be submitted normally until New Year’s Eve. AADE will restore these functions from January 2.
Important information is that the digital application for submitting certificates of salaries, pensions and fees from business activity for tax year 2024 will close permanently on December 31 at 11:00 PM.
Payments and other electronic services
Taxpayers who wish to settle certified debts via cards or the IRIS system, using myAADE and myAADEapp, must complete their transactions by 11:00 PM on New Year’s Eve. Payment services will return to full operation from Monday, January 2. The submission of VAT returns, including special OSS and IOSS regimes for e-commerce, as well as Corporate Income Tax returns through the myAADE platform, will be temporarily suspended after 11:00 PM on December 31.
Revenue certification procedures for the State and third parties, as well as the revenue reduction procedure carried out through interoperability services, follow the general program with restart on January 2, 2026.
Which services will operate from New Year’s Day
Despite the widespread closure of digital platforms, AADE ensures continuity of certain critical services. Specifically, from January 1, 2026, the digital application for issuing current year ENFIA Certificates will be immediately available. Additionally, citizens will be able to print receipts for their tax obligations from the first day of the new year, without having to wait for the restart of all digital services.
