Fascist and nationalist slogans written on school desks in Chania are causing intense concern within the local educational community. According to zarpanews, the abundance of extremist messages found written on desks is a known problem in the educational community, which is why the Chania Teachers’ Union has organized three anti-fascist mobilizations, gatherings, and marches in recent months.
Some of the slogans written with permanent black marker on the desks include: “Blood Honor Golden Dawn,” “Down with the Communist Party, Long live Golden Dawn, Death to Communist dogs,” “Communists = Anti-Greeks.”
