Greece’s Defense Minister Nikos Dendias held meetings and discussions about the SAFE program in Brussels. The Minister of National Defense traveled to the Belgian capital, where he met on Monday, November 24, with Timo Pesonen, the Director General for Defense Industry and Space of the European Union. Additionally, he spoke with other officials. The Defense Minister focused on the SAFE program, specifically the submission of participation proposals and the details concerning its implementation.

Mr. Dendias posted on platform X, noting that the deadline for submitting participation proposals expires on November 30: “I met today in #Brussels with Mr. Timo Pesonen, Director General for Defense Industry and Space of the EU and other senior officials from DG DEFIS, in the context of the upcoming deadline for submitting participation proposals for the #SAFE program (30/11/2025). We discussed, among other things, a series of issues concerning the next stages and implementation of the Program.”
